The KC Wheel is launching a new charitable initiative with local Kansas City nonprofit organizations in order to promote their cause, drive awareness and help fund their efforts with a new initiative, One Good Turn Deserves Another. Over the course of 2024, the KC Wheel will host a variety of local charities who will educate guests about their work, share their needs, encourage others to get involved in serving the city and offer the opportunity to donate to their cause. Guests who donate at the events will receive a special thank you gift from the KC Wheel.
The first event will take place this weekend, April 27 and 28 with the Make A Wish Foundation of Kansas and Missouri. Guests will have the opportunity to learn more about how the foundation supports the life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Representatives will be on hand from 2-4 p.m. to share personal experiences of their special wishes coming true. Guests who donate $10 or more at the event will receive a free Digital Photo Package.
