The KC Wheel is honored to partner with A Soldier’s Child Foundation (ASC), a dedicated non-profit organization supporting children across the United States who have lost a parent in active-duty service. On November 9, the KC Wheel will host 50 young heroes and their families, offering a day of unforgettable experiences and meaningful connections. These children, who have faced the profound loss of a parent in the line of duty, will enjoy a complimentary ride on the KC Wheel, a round of mini golf at Pennway Point, and a keepsake photo to capture the special day.
The event is part of a broader partnership between the KC Wheel and A Soldier’s Child Foundation, which provides essential support to families of fallen service members. With more than 5,000 children currently enrolled nationwide, ASC works tirelessly to fill the gap left by loss, offering family support, financial assistance, and uplifting experiences. Through birthday celebrations, holiday events, mentorship programs, and scholarships, ASC’s mission is to support and uplift these resilient young individuals.
In honor of the service members remembered and the families left behind, the KC Wheel will light up in patriotic red, white, and blue on both November 9 and Veterans Day, November 11.
Guests attending the event on November 9 can also support ASC’s “SOS – Season of Sacrifice” holiday mission by donating $10 or more to help provide Christmas presents to ASC’s enrolled children. In gratitude, each donor will receive a complimentary digital keepsake photo of their visit, courtesy of the KC Wheel.
For those unable to attend but still interested in supporting A Soldier’s Child Foundation, donations can be made directly at ASoldiersChildFoundation.org.
