Beginning Friday, November 7, through Tuesday, November 11, the KC Wheel invites U.S. service members to enjoy a FREEride on the wheel. Take in spectacular views of the Kansas City skyline, Penn Valley Park, and the National WW1 Museum. The KC Wheel is grateful to our local veterans and active duty service members who ensure our freedoms remain protected!
Tickets must be purchased in person at the ticket booth. Veterans and active duty military can show proof of service with any of the following:
— DD124 (Certificate of Release of Discharge from Active Duty)
— Driver’s License with a veteran’s designation
— VA-issued ID Card
— Leave & Earnings Statement (LES)
— Enlistment Contracts
— Specific branch record briefs
— Past or Current Military ID Card
What To Expect At The KC Wheel
See the Heart of America like never before with a visit to the KC Wheel. The family-friendly, must-do, date-night, happy hour destination is anchored by a 150-foot-tall observation wheel covered in LED lights, creating countless color combinations and a bright way for KC to celebrate holidays, gender reveals, and of course, KC’s fearless sports teams.
Challenge friends and family to a little competition on our 16-hole mini golf course, Pennway Putt! The course is filled with KC flair! Keep your eyes peeled for Lovie, our friendly gopher mascot. Please note that the last entry onto the mini golf course is 30 minutes prior to closing.
And don’t leave hungry! Be sure to grab a sweet snack or refreshing drink from our on-site eatery, The Wheel House!From juicy burgers to soft serve ice cream and local craft beer, we’ve got the whole crew covered.
